All my life, art has been the salve, the cooling balm the essential oil for whatever life presents and for deep, personal joy. Being in a creative space is quite simply a natural way to heal. Healing, for me, is creating a container where change can happen. Sometimes that container is in my art studio and sometimes it is in the healing studio. In both places I enter into a field of beauty and trust, the seen and unseen, the known and unknown. Both practices involve wonder, timeless space, and skill. When I engage in a healing for someone, I step into an energetic field of love and creativity. When I walk into my art studio, I step into the same field.

For both of these practices, the end of the string is love. Without that, everything is flat. Whether doing a healing or a painting, I follow that string until whatever is supposed to happen, does so.
