FAQ’s

How many sessions will I need?

Typically, at the end of the second session I have a clear idea how long it might take you to reach your goals. The number of sessions depends on how much time you have to give to the exercises and the nature of the goals.

What do I have to do to prepare for our first meeting?

When you call for an appointment, I will suggest what you need for our first session. If you’re working on a speech or doing live broadcasts, I’ll ask you to bring your materials.

How much “homework” is involved?

When and how much practice at home you will have is determined by both of us. I encourage you to do the exercises when and where you can concentrate and listen best. It is important that your practice between lessons integrate into your lifestyle.

Can I get help in-between sessions?

Yes. I am available to speak with you on the phone or via e-mail should you have questions or need help. I encourage people to keep in contact in-between sessions so the momentum of the work can be maintained.

How will I know if I’m getting better?

At our first session, we create a personal voice and delivery checklist of where you are now in your voice and delivery. Next, we cover what you want to accomplish. These goals are clearly stated and I suggest ways for you to meet those goals. At each subsequent session, we check the progress of your practice and whether or not the specific goal has been met.

Is our work confidential?

Yes.

What happens if I need help at the spur of the moment?

Assuming you’re not standing at a podium in front of 200 people, give me a call.
